Outpost wikilink
[edit]Outpost (2008 film) isn't the one Marshall is working on, is it? They're both horror films, both have zombies, but otherwise they're very different. Has there been a mix-up? Geoff B (talk) 18:33, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- I dealt with this last summer -- there are two separate projects. See Outpost (film) and Outpost (film II). No apparent connection between the Barker project and this one. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 21:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thought so, thanks Erik. Geoff B (talk) 21:52, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Returning to this topic, I requested Steve Barker's Outpost (2008 film) to be moved to Outpost (film). Right now, the page history for Marshall's project in development hell is at Outpost (2009 film) (see page history). However, there is no new Outpost besides Steve Barker's film on IMDb, so chances that it is in active development is low. I'm just mentioning the page history of the Marshall project here so if it ever starts again, we can resurrect the article and move it to Outpost (2010 film) or Outpost (2011 film) if necessary. Obviously, we'll move Outpost (film) back to Outpost (2008 film) if Marshall's film is made, but right now, it's the only film article on Wikipedia called Outpost. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 19:32, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Sherlock Holmes
[edit]In March 2007, Neil Marshall was attached to Sherlock Holmes.
In June 2008, Guy Ritchie replaced Marshall as the director. I've removed the relevant section from "Planned projects" in the article. I'm not sure if Marshall's brief involvement is worth mentioning since it is not going to pan out, but the links are above for possible re-implementation. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 16:59, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Future projects
[edit]I've removed the "Future projects" section (which I wrote years ago) partly because I thought Marshall would get around to these projects. As the years go by, this does not appear to be the case, so it is not a section of value to have compared to the work he has actually done. The diff is here in case any of the projects do commence and editors want to recover the related references. Erik II (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:50, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
