Mother Machree! Let's be encyclopedic...
[edit]"He starred with Victor McLaglen in John Ford's Mother Machree (1928), whose title coincidentally became Chief O'Hara's catchphrase in the Batman television series almost four decades later."
How do we know this is a coincidence? There may be a reason for it, and if so, it should be cited. Perhaps Hamilton suggested it himself, which would make it NOT a coincidence. Let's try to remember what a coincidence is, and give it its due when it really happens. For the time being, I am editing to remove this, which seems to be opinion or original research. - There seems to have been some confusion, because, although this entry mentioned early on that Hamilton played Commissioner Gordon on Batman, the paragraph about "Mother Machree" claimed that he had played Chief O'Hara. But that was Stafford Repp, and I have corrected it. Barubiito (talk) 12:37, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
Who was this soldier? What? Why?
[edit]The story about the soldier getting his arm blown off raises more questions than it answers. Was this soldier on the set? Why? What on the set would have caused him to lose his arm? Unfortunately, the original sourced linked to provides no more information. Without some clarification, I'd just as soon see this story deleted. Barubiito (talk) 12:39, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
