There was discussion about merging Gregg Turkington to Neil. PLEASE DON'T. These people are not the same person. Neil Hamburger is an international comedian and Gregg Turkington is merely his producer! They don't even look the same. - Carrot Top Fan
The explanation of "zipper lips" could be clearer. And what is a "verbal stoush"?! TheShyUnique
I saw this guy opening for Tenacious D yesterday (15th December) at the Birmingham NEC in England... he was booed offstage by pretty much everyone. Maybe the fact that he's a racist and a bigot should be added to the page. --Genesis000
Maybe you should state one reason for us to feel that "fact" has been verified.MycroftHolmes 18:37, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
haha i was there too thats his role, to annoy everyone possible haha he was quite funny when he said "your tripling my income!" when they threw pennies at him--Guitarjunkie66 14:52, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
I dont think he wanted to annoy people that much... it was at the stage when people were considering beating him up in an alleyway when the show was over.
I saw him opening for Tenacious D last night in Brighton (17th December). He was being booed from the start with all sorts being thrown at him. I think this is his act and i thought he was funny, he was trying to shock and upset and he did it with ease. I loved the fact he had the guts to come in with a sick Dianna joke right at the point he was about to get lynched. Maybe people arent getting it Herbie13 13:21, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
I was there at Brighton too. I think a few people took it a little too seriously! Weren't people throwing beans at him???
I was at the Madison Square Garden performance of Tenacious D, and like the previous posters have said, he was booed off the stage (though, granted, the previous opening act put the crowd in a rather foul mood), and I am a bit perplexed to how this was the "greatest performance of his life". 68.198.220.163 03:38, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
I saw 3 of the U.K. shows with Tenacious D and he was never "booed off stage", yes he was booed, but it never stopped him, he just kept on going. Also, I never heard anything racist or bigoted. I quite liked the show.

You don't seem to be aware that, when you criticize Neil Hamburger, you are dissing a character that is no more real than Mortimer Snerd. Perhaps you need to re-read the first sentence of the article repeatedly until you grasp its meaning. Bustter (talk) 22:49, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
If the audience member doesn't respond, Hamburger produces a verbal stoush that produces his Zipper Schtick. What does that mean? I can look up "stoush" easily enough, but what is the Zipper Schtick?

Saw him at all Tomorrow's Parties festival in the UK (2008) and he got a very good response. Opening for a rock act in an arena is probably a much harder task. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.47.223.5 (talk) 10:43, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Sings Country Winners
In the part of the article where it mentions people who played on the Drag City album, do we really need to mention Todd Rundgren's band there three times? Captainkid (talk) 15:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Andy Kaufman Rip off?
Instead of lounge singing he's doing jokes. Should this be mentioned in the article? ----bill —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.245.20.140 (talk) 23:46, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
