[edit]Does anybody know where you could find his any videos of his online. I checked some obvious places (youtube, google video) Rumor has it that he filmed his own death in Thailand. Not sure what the copy rights on these videos are.
Neil Davis did indeed "film his own death" in Bangkok in 1985. Stills from the footage taken by his still rolling camera are reproduced in Tim Bowden's biography One Crowded Hour. --Nickm57 10:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Death section sentence makes little sense
[edit]The following sentence makes no sense:
“ | Davis was a victim of technology which may have contributed to his death. He had always worked by himself in dangerous situations, preferring not to make life-and-death decisions for others. But for the last six years of his life, he was tethered to a sound man "to shoulder the heavy battery and cassette pack, linked to the nine-kilogram camera by a video cable." | ” |
How does being tethered to the sound man make any difference when they were both killed by an unexpected round being fired by a tank? He was killed instantly. Can someone who has access to the source, look this up and corroborate? ~ Alcmaeonid (talk) 09:57, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
