About 10% of People are going to be using the word Neek to mean a starwars monster. Surely we should not redirrect to this page... Banak (talk) 13:35, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is not urban dictionary, they probably shouldn't be looking for "nerd+geek" here. If you can write a well-sourced encyclopedia article on the word "Neek" that doesn't run afoul of WP:NEO, I will unprotect. –xenotalk 13:42, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Look, I propose seeing as it is highly likely that they will mean the combination of the words nerd and geek that we write: A neek can refer to: A nerd, who is also a geek A fictional species in the Starwars series. [1] This would be only for a while whilst the article neek would be improved. This is rediculous. See my coment from the highly inactive talk page for list of starwars creatures- "Look, I understand that having a page for neek in an encyclopedia, is not approved of. We need a disabiguation page which says something like: A neek can refer to: A nerd, who is also a geek A fictional species in the Starwars series.

I mean, do we redirrect the word Nerd to "If I Ran the Zoo" or the word geek to idiot, because in shakespears time it meant that? No, we use what the word means now, and now it mean nerd and geek. 94.195.20.56 (talk) 17:04, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I'm going to edit this now, this is riduculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.195.20.56 (talk) 22:12, 25 October 2010 (UTC)"

We cannot seriously redirrect this for the c. 0.1% of users who will mean the creature. I mean why do we bother having pages for nerd and geek? Because they are cultures like goth, emo, etc. We need this page because we all know noone will seriously mean the starwars creature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Banak (talkcontribs) 22:25, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
