Neal Schon's official website has some details (birthplace, for example) that are different than what is written in this article [1]. He definitely LIVED in San Mateo, California. Schmiteye 03:27, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish heritage?

I agree with Amit when it comes to the subject matter at hand, because there are no citations to substantiate the tag on the page, nor is it relevant to the article's subject matter. If the musical genre from the artist had something to do with a religious nature, then I could see having Neal Schon's religious background be a part of the article. Otherwise, it's superfluous and unnecessary. This person obviously sees this from his POV rather than observing the WP:RNPOV. He isn't of Jewish heritage. His paternal grandparents, George Schon and Theresa Maurer, were of non-Jewish German descent (this is them at findagrave). All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 05:10, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
