Background
[edit]I have been researching this particular stub and feel that introduction is misleading in that the Belgian Resistance was not responsible for stopping this train before it reached Germany, but rather diplomats from neutral Switzerland had made a deal with the German commander in Brussels, Richard Jungclaus, that the 1500 prisoners be returned to Brussels and handed over to the Belgian authorities.
