Tele Atlas

[edit]

Tele Atlas is a Belgian company (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tele_Atlas)

The Tele Atlas article says it's headquartered in the Netherlands. -- SEWilco (talk) 15:13, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Last time I checked, Belgium <> Netherlands = Dutch. Ronnotel (talk) 18:22, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

While it seems that the company markets itself as NAVTEQ, by far the most common usage in independent references is Navteq. WP policy is to use the most common form in situations like this. Ronnotel (talk) 23:20, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the correct decision was made, to retain the article name as "Navteq". I reviewed the URLs provided in the section below. The section says not to alter or add to it, thus I am commenting here. I noticed that Nokia, the company that owns Navteq, uses the "Navteq" spelling, see Nokia Conversation website, all entries tagged Navteq. --FeralOink (talk) 23:10, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The company name is NAVTEQ, could you refer to these locations that constitute independent sources? It should be called NAVTEQ. e.g.

  1. http://corporate.navteq.com/webapps/NewsUserServlet?action=NewsDetail&newsId=773&lang=en&englishonly=false
  2. http://conversations.nokia.com/2010/01/22/making-maps-with-navteq/

sex offender

[edit]

I think the term "sex offender" should not be there —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.165.142.226 (talk) 21:23, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Financials

[edit]

I believe the financials prior to its takeover are relevant -- it shows the scope of the company. The company's financials will be within the Nokia report going forward but won't be as comprehensive. Americasroof (talk) 13:16, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's just "Here Technologies"

[edit]

When it was Nokia, it was Ovi maps, when it divested from Nokia, it became Here GmbH, owned by There Gmbh.
