animism

"animism is the most widely followed religion" sounds wrong to me - it implies that there is an animist religion when there's almost certainly a varied range of practices and beliefs, and probably few people who would self-ascribe as "animist". Etymology

"voro (meaning the sound of stepping onto crunchy, dry soil)" seems to be the opposite of what is given in St. John-Parsons's 'Legends of Northern Ghana'.
