I would dispute the phrase 'never practiced in medicine' and 'never practiced in law'... what are your references?

To achieve full registration with the General Medical Council, a doctor must have practised in medicine for 1 year after university, which he did in 1977.

he did practice Jambe — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.158.107.190 (talk) 22:23, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Why is his name written in Hindi? There is no direct connection to India or Hindi language in his life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LiangHH (talkcontribs) 22:28, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading Section of Article

[edit]

Hello Wikipedians,

I believe that the headline "2024 Phone Tapping scandal" is rather misleading. I have researched on that topic and they do not seem to be controversial to this article. In addition, I have done further research, and Dr Navin Ramgoolam claimed that he actually ordered his staff to get rid of the phone tapping as he actually respects the Mauritian people's privacy. He also mentioned that he later initiated the phone tapping in 2014 to combat drugs and terrorist attacks only. However, the phone tapping was then handled by the other prime minister in 2015. The audio leaks seem to be between 2015 to 2024, in which Dr Navin Ramgoolam was not prime minister during those time. Therefore, I believe that this section of the article needs to be removed to prevent false information. Nikhilrealm (talk) 13:53, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree on the fact that the wiretapping section needs to be removed as it does not totally and directly relate to what's written in the paragraph.
You mentioned about removing the article, you need to be careful while using your words, administrators might think you would want to remove the whole article. SwiftReader1994 (talk) 17:12, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm glad someone agrees with me. However, there seems to be a user that keeps adding that section (and other misleading sections) in the article after its removal. Are there anyway to deal with that issue?
I also apologies for my words. I will make sure to make the changes. Nikhilrealm (talk) 17:57, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A much qualified administrator needs to review these repeated vandalism by that user inserting paragraphs in a way that doesn't relate to what the sources is saying, and some original sources are also no longer available online or doesn't come from a notable news sources. I sincerely hope an administrator look into same. In any case, i have already requested protection for Honourable Prime Minister's Wikipedia page. Hi, I am not Dr Navin Ramgoolam. I am just a fellow Wikipedian on the internet who wants to eliminate any misinformation written. I apologise if I have caused any inconvenience. Nikhilrealm (talk) 16:12, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
