External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Navarre Beach, Florida. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20110109023233/http://www.santarosa.fl.gov/navarre/pier.html to http://www.santarosa.fl.gov/navarre/pier.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Census-designated place
[edit]I have undone the merge of Navarre Beach with Navarre, Florida. The practice in Wikipedia is to have a separate article for each census-designated place in the U.S. In this case, while Navarre Beach shares a ZIP Code with Navarre, the U.S. Census Bureau maintains a complete set of population and demographic statistics that are separate from the statistics for Navarre, indicating that planners and others in the region see at as a community with enough distinct characteristics as to let it stand alone. While it is perfectly fine to claim that Navarre Beach is a neighborhood of Navarre, it's actually a moot point since neither community is incorporated. --Ken Gallager (talk) 19:13, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Unmerge?
[edit]So looking back, I'm seeing that the discussion confirming merging this page with the Navarre, Florida page was skewed because of some sockpuppet activity [for full transparency, this was a terrible mistake on my part when I was 15 (this was 6 years ago) and did not realize the seriousness behind sockpuppeting, I went through the investigation and reinstatement process to be allowed to edit again and, of course, haven't done any such thing again]. I still would very much support keeping the articles merged, and there wasn't any dissent from anybody whatsoever when the merge was being discussed. However, considering the facts as they are, if there is any wish to create a new discussion, I would understand. Looking forward to hearing y'all's thoughts! - Navarre0107 (talk) 22:50, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
