Atlantic Airport and Naval Aux Air Station were 2 separate airports. I have heard stories of the people that owned the land taken over for the Charlestown Naval Air Station. They wanted the chance to buy back the land taken from them by the government but it never happened. A check of the ownership records will confirm ( or deny) this. Where do you get your information?
