Non Open Access yet
[edit]As it is clearly visible at the Moment, this Journal is not Open Access yet. I call it partial OpenAccess. Examples are:
- http://www.nature.com/ncomms/2015/151110/ncomms9791/full/ncomms9791.html
On their website the claim that it will become OpenAccess also for past Issues, in January 2016. But let's not give the early credit, when they are asking 35CHF for one article at the moment, that was submitted in June 2015. So nearly a year after they announced their move to OpenAccess. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Think!! (talk • contribs) 11:41, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
@Randykitty
[edit]Your latest version is still wrong. For 2010-2015, the journal is not entirely open access. The 'about' section of their homepage (http://www.nature.com/ncomms/about/index.html) says "so the journal will continue to publish subscription content throughout 2015". "Subscription contents" means the exact opposite of "open access". -- Regards, Oisguad (talk) 15:46, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for taking my note into consideration, but sorry: it's still wrong. It's not an open access journal, because some contents is not open access. Even in a couple of years from now, when all **new** contents will be open source, the journal as a whole, meaning the entire corpus of hitherto published works, should not be said to be "open access" without making a reservation about the early volumes. -- Oisguad (talk) 20:31, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
- Clearly not an open access journal in 2015. --77.3.135.252 (talk) 19:36, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
