Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a musical recording that does not indicate its own importance and where the artist's article does not exist, because there are obviously seven reviews from *significant, independent publications*, plus this interview from Billboard that has yet to be used, meaning that the album is obviously notable. Also, it's irrelevant if an artist article exists or not. The topic is notable. Pointless, fraudulent nomination. HumanxAnthro (talk) 20:27, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The prose says nothing as to why the album is significant; reviews are a start, but anyone can write a review on an album. You need to add information as to why the album is significant if you want this to avoid deletion through a deletion discussion. – John M Wolfson (talkcontribs) 20:42, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • "anyone can write a review on an album."... But only a limited number of journalists can review an album for a professional, significant media publication and get hired, paid and told to do it. Reviews from professional, independent publications are significant coverage.
    • "You need to add information as to why the album is significant" There already is indication for why the album is significant; professional publications cover it, as shown via the citations. The citations, coverage, and sources prove the notability. HumanxAnthro (talk) 20:48, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
