France just announced that they have discovered a Russian disinformation campaign regarding the war in the Ukraine. What’s so interesting about this, is the details surrounding this particular disinformation effort are almost identical to the one Natural News used to support Trump’s original run for president, a campaign revealed by whistleblower Robert Willis in 2021. I am still confounded by the lack of sources linking Natural News to Russia. A UK anti-propaganda org did a deep dive on Natural News showing how their disinfo network works. Willis helped buildup elements of this network to help Trump win in 2016. Based on the budget Willis appeared to be working with, it seems impossible that the money came from Natural News, even though he was hired by them to do this. Why isn’t anyone looking into this?
