Request to move into National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin
[edit]Based on the official website: http://nscc-tj.gov.cn/en/index.asp , the formal English name is National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin. So it should be moved into National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, which is more correct than of Tianjin.David30930 (talk) 19:14, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- Give us an exact location for the Supercomputing Center, or at least which district of Tianjin city it's located in. I need to know the distance from the 2015 Tianjin explosion. 69.196.182.97 (talk) 05:05, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Status after 2015 Tianjin explosion
[edit]According to the following articles, the center is still standing (albeit damaged) after the 2015 Tianjin explosion:
- http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/08/13/china_blast_leaves_many_dead_knocks_supercomputer_offline/
- http://www.ecns.cn/cns-wire/2015/08-13/177010.shtml

Accordingly, I reverted a small edit made to this page after the explosion that changed "is" in the first sentence to "was", implying that the center no longer existed. --Joseph Spiros (talk) 11:59, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
