History

[edit]

In addition, there was a Stonewall Democrats movement in various cities for more than a decade before the 1999 founding of the current national organization. Wbkelley (talk) 05:22, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Although I applaud the effort to get something instead of nothing posted to this topic, I think that it helps to add the Advertisement Template tag so that particular attention can be paid to making this article more NPOV by the community as a whole. Article title

[edit]

Why is this article not called National Stonewall Democrats? Unless someone's got a good reason, then it should be moved in accordance with Wikipedia's Naming Conventions. --Lincolnite 14:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NAMBLA reference

[edit]

In what way is the NSD affiliated with NAMBLA? --Hadjalexiou (talk) 04:55, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you have a source that suggests otherwise, I would imagine that it isn't. Robofish (talk) 19:30, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rolled back recent updates from 9/3/13 and 9/10/13 that were not factual, undocumented, and did not comport to Wikipedia standards. 24.250.157.7 (talk) 03:53, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Does this organization still exist?

[edit]

As a term, "Stonewall Democrats" pre-exists this organization, and political clubs in various regions still call themselves "Stonewall Democrats", but we need an update on the group's status.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:13, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Answered my own question, updated article to reflect group's demise, on which the members are to be congratulated. It's nice when a civil rights campaign folds up shop because the rights they campaigned for have (largely) been won.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:54, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
