[edit]This page looks good it meets the required length and has enough sources. It also needs a picture.

I think it can be helped by a listing of ships built for the US Navy.
all 7 Mars_class_combat_stores_ship 1960-1970
last of the Wichita_class_replenishment_oiler -1973
all of the Lewis and Clarke class dry cargo ships 2003 to current
all 4 of the Yellowstone_class_destroyer_tender 1978-1985
USNS_Zeus_(ARC-7) - only US navy owned active cable repair ship -0980-0982
17 of 20 of the Newport_class_tank_landing_ship 1968-1973
8 Watson_class_vehicle_cargo_ship 1996-2002
Algol_class_vehicle_cargo_ship - several of these ships - I will guess half had their conversion to US navy service done by NASSSCO.
There are also a multiple of other USNS ships that had their conversion done at NASSCO.

Rewrite
[edit]I just did a complete rewrite of this article. Most of the content had been copied-and-pasted directly from the San Diego Union Tribune [1] and from company press releases. --MelanieN (talk) 21:08, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
