Picture
[edit]I can add a photo of the 2002 edition of the NRG. I bought my copy from the publisher in 2002 (@ £12.50, as described), and was told in a phone conversation that it was the very last copy that had been printed ... so I suspect they may not be available to the public any longer. "Is the customer on the shortest (by distance) route between origin and destination? (mileages listed in the National Rail Timetable)"
[edit]Yes, but:
1) The printed NRT is being discontinued, and more to the point: 2) Most timetables don't give mileages anyway!

Spelling
[edit]Does it need the "Note the spelling" statement? This is surely the usual spelling of "routeing" in British English and usefully distinguishes it from the word "routing", which is about cutting slots and recesses in bits of wood. Bluewave (talk) 15:48, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Out of Date
[edit]The online NRT tool appears to have been deleted from the ATOC website, only the pdf files remain.

Looks like this is a permanent change (but at least the PDFs seem to be being updated). Anyway I've dropped all references to the online tool.

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on National Routeing Guide. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.rail-reg.gov.uk/server/show/ConWebDoc.5510
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.rail-reg.gov.uk/server/show/ConWebDoc.5492
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Needs further work on referencing. There are a few footnotes, but not enough to get through GA. Slambo (Speak) 15:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC) |
