- First archive is a dead link due to Ringette Canada recently rebuilding their website, this has created problems for a number of articles citing their organization's webpages: the links either result in a dead link or the new information added to those pages erases the old information, meaning webpage content may no longer correspond with articles using their wepages as a source.
- I have added and used the second link regarding the NRL Cambridge Turbos meeting team Luvia (Finland club team) in the World Club championship final CheckersBoard (talk) 16:18, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

Was it Winnipeg Prairie Fire or the Manitoba Prairie Fire?
[edit]I know this NRL team is defunct, but the article mentions it. Was it Winnipeg Prairie Fire or the Manitoba Prairie Fire? Almost positive it's the same team, did it go by different names during different seasons? If anyone knows please reply. If an editor can find references about this team that would be a big help too. CheckersBoard (talk) 03:39, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- Interestingly, references I have found refer to the team only as Prairie Fire. See these news stories for examples: Ringette's chance of a lifetime; Calgary RATH takes national ringette title Other justin (talk) 23:17, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Actually, I have found some references to the team being called the Winnipeg Prairie Fire. See here for example: Winnipeg’s Prairie Fire beat Calgary at ringette nationals Other justin (talk) 15:48, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

Team pages
[edit]I've done some work creating dedicated articles for the western teams: see BC Thunder, Calgary RATH, Edmonton WAM!, and Saskatchewan Heat. Overall, I would say that coverage of the NRL and its teams are unfortunately sparse. I'd like to create pages for the other western teams (Edmonton and Manitoba) but am having trouble finding coverage. Do they satisfy notability criteria simply for being part of the NRL? I'd welcome some discussion on this point.
I think having dedicated team articles would really help to improve coverage of ringette and the NRL on Wikipedia, and help to clean up this NRL article, which is quite unwieldy. Other justin (talk) 23:13, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- By way of update, I feel like I did find enough to create a Manitoba Herd page, but I'm going to hold off on the Edmonton Black Gold Rush for the time being. Other justin (talk) 15:47, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for all your time and hard work! I've been wanting to do this myself but didn't know how. That's a great start :) CheckersBoard (talk) 12:29, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
