Australian Premier League → National Premier Leagues – The name of the League was officially announced in the Official Launch on 13 February 2013: http://au.fourfourtwo.com/news.aspx?CIaNID=263661. The reason I haven't simply moved the page, is that there is already a National Premier League (note singular, not plural); I am unsure whether to move this article to National Premier Leagues or to National Premier Leagues (Australia). Any advice? Ai1238 (talk) 01:51, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Rename both articles, to National Premier Leagues (Australia) and National Premier League (Jamaica) respectively. Both "National Premier Leagues" and "National Premier League" would then redirect to the disambiguation page. (whichever is chosen to be the location of the disambiguation page) -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 06:06, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Done. Not sure about the disambiguation page. Simione001 (talk) 06:10, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Simione, per protocol at WP:RM this move should not be carried out until at least seven days have passed and a consensus has been reached. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 15:35, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

- Support move to National Premier Leagues - the presence / absence of the plural in the two leagues is sufficient disambiguation in my opinion, and a hatnote can be used at the top of National Premier Leagues and National Premier League to link one to the other. — Amakuru (talk) 15:40, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Support move to National Premier Leagues as per Amakuru. --2nyte (talk) 16:52, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Support. The use of plural leagues is adequate disambiguation. Zarcadia (talk) 17:48, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- Support move to National Premier Leagues as per Amakuru, 2nyte and User:Zarcadia. The proposed name fully satisfies WP:COMMONNAME, WP:CRITERIA and WP:D (no need to disambiguate). --Born2cycle (talk) 23:41, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Finals series
[edit]Should NPL final-series matches be counted in as a league game?Simione001 (talk) 05:52, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
- I guess I would count it as a separate competition like a cup or something, so include it in competitive matches but not league matches. --TinTin (talk) 01:16, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- What do the competition regulations say? Hack (talk) 01:33, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Former clubs sub-section?
[edit]Do you think it would be good to have a former clubs sub-section within the clubs section. It could show clubs who have withdrawn or been relegated out of the NPL and indicate the years they where active in the NPL? It may be a short list now but it will obviously get larger and potentially become more important after a few years when more seasons have been played. Thoughts? --TinTin (talk) 03:46, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
