Wasn't there an initial success?

@JonahF: Dear colleague: since you have removed {{check}} placed by me regarding the election results of the NPD, I am hereby trying to attract your attention to my comment immediately above and point out that the volume 1 apparently does not have page numbers like 1263, etc., see the table of contents [2] on page 7. The book linked in [2] here is the wrong issue, it was made rather confusing apparently. The physical Book I have and cited is "Band 1 AUD-EFP" while the one on the link is "Band 1 AUD-CDU" (also note the different publisher). The one I used has over 1300 pages, which is also visible in the table of contents of the Book.

About your first comment, the pages linked in [1] are clearly talking about the National Democratic Party of Germany. Unfortunately some sources, not just English ones, occasionally labelled it as just "National Party of Germany" or similar. The text however makes clear that the party was new by 1965, which was after the dissolution of the subject of this article but lines up with the foundation date of the National Democratic Party of Germany. Additionally, the cited pages mention the electoral success in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg, which would line up exactly with the electoral success of the National Democratic Party in 1966 & 1968 respectively.
