Rename this article to "Consumer Panel"
[edit]The National Consumer Panel is just the Consumer Panel in the US, provided by a joint venture of NIQ and Circana. But there are Consumer Panels in more than 100 other countries. Bdschi (talk) 21:15, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. – robertsky (talk) 02:16, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
National Consumer Panel → Consumer Panel – See comment above. The national consumer panel could then just be a chapter of this article. It would then also no longer be precieved as a commercial. Bdschi (talk) 11:23, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Unclear in this request whether those other "Consumer Panels" are affiliated with this one (are they also joint venture of NIQ and Circana?). If the idea is that there is some generic but unaffiliated "consumer panel" type, then the desired article would be Consumer panel, lowercase p, as it is not a proper noun. Hoewver, even this article lacks sourcing; I cannot say that there's anything in this article that indicates that there is a larger article within it just aching to burst free. If you have one, perhaps create that article and suggest this merge into that. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 18:48, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- The other Consumer panels belong to different companies: NIQ, Kantar, GfK and others, and are not joint ventures.
- I see this article as part of a general "Consumer panel" article, because if we leave it like this it feels like a commercial for NIQ's/Circana's product. Bdschi (talk) 04:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I don't see this page as particularly advertisish. It's seems a fairly straightforward descriptor of the business. That doesn't mean that it should stick around if there aren't third-party sources to support it, of course. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 06:25, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Solution in search of a problem. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:57, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
