Talk:National Charter Party

[edit]WeaponizingArchitecture I'm not sure why you felt the need to report me when we could've discussed mstters here beforehand. Nowhere on the page anti-corruption nor on the page for welfarism are these cited as political ideologies. The claims are also WP:OR, so these are therefore both good grounds for removal. - how is it original research when it's literally in the party charter, which i cited; Looking for sources =/= original research (i aint flying out to jordan for this dawg) 🤓 WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 🤓 19:26, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- You didn't cited it next to the claims in the infobox. Regardless, these are not cited on the respective pages as political ideologies. Helper201 (talk) 21:22, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Please just move this to my talk page this is getting tedious. Thanks 🤓 WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 🤓 23:39, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Its most relevant to this page, so the matter should be dealt with here. It also helps leave a record for others who have or in the future edit this page. Helper201 (talk) 03:17, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Helper201: Why was the OR tag removed, which I had added? There is clearly OR in the information cited to the party's charter. Makeandtoss (talk) 11:47, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Makeandtoss I removed WP:OR but not any tags. OR should not be placed on the page. Helper201 (talk) 01:19, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- WeaponizingArchitecture The source you re-added for monarchism doesn't say that at all. Please actually read the source and see for yourself. Welfarism and anti-corruption are also both not cited on either of their respective pages as political ideologies. Helper201 (talk) 03:09, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Somebody else initially added it and I added it back under the impression it was being removed disruptively.
- As for those 2, even if they aren't strictly "ideologies" by rigid defenition, they are often common policy aims of parties and can be added into the ideology section (there is the idea of "anti corruption candidates" so thats why it's often included. ⛿ WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 03:15, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter who added it. So, you can see now the source for monarchism clearly doesn't support the claim?
- So you're in agreement these are not political ideologies. In which case they belong in the main text where I placed them. Helper201 (talk) 03:37, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- ANTI CORRUPTION IS INCLUDED ON INFOBOXES ACROSS WIKIPEDIA. You are not listening to me at all. The ideology section is not strictly for political philosophies. Please stop using OTHER WIKIPEDIA PAGES to prove your point. ⛿ WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 15:25, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- "Please stop using OTHER WIKIPEDIA PAGES to prove your point", that's exactly what you're doing with all your links in caps. It doesn't matter what other pages list, per WP:OTHERSTUFF, it matters if it’s a cited political ideology, which this isn't. "The ideology section is not strictly for political philosophies" this is again your own personal view, not backed up by evidence, just pointing to other pages, which is again, WP:OTHERSTUFF. I have no problem with anti-Zionism being in the main body, its just not appropriate to place it in the ideology section of the infobox. I'm trying to be civil and cooperative here. Helper201 (talk) 08:00, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- You aren't being cooperative, all your doing is deflecting my criticisms of your edits onto me. Your only argument for removing it is incredibly dubious semantics. I linked other articles to display consensus on what should be included. You're working off of an incredibly strict definition of the section. Second off, I'm citing other articles to showcase what editors have added. I'm criticizing you because you're using wiki articles as a source for what is an ideology and what isn't. Third off, you're on the wrong article; No one was talking about Anti-Zionism in this article. It's mentioned in the main body that the party is Pro-Palestine (like MOST in jordan are) and that's it. ⛿ WeaponizingArchitecture | yell at me 14:35, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
