[edit]The references need to be linked to online versions of the various articles if possible. Some of them can be. But the question remains, do they give the organizations substantial mention, or just talk about the individual fairs and mention the sponsoring group in passing. If its the latter, they do not support the article adequately. DGG (talk) 17:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
How is this an entry about a notable topic? It reads little more than an advert for a company. I did a bit of Googling, and was unable to find anything other than the ads for all the wonderful job fairs these guys put on. Other than the fact that there are many, many companies doing the same thing, what places NCF above the crowd? Safety Cap (talk) 19:50, 31 March 2009 (UTC).
I agree I'd like to see peer or editor reviewed references to the company or events that this company puts on. They also should discuss what a career fair is and other entities that host such fairs e.g. universities.
I don't see how this anything other than an advertisement. I'm marking it for speedy deletion and notifying the original poster SteveTheRed (talk) 14:26, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
This was declined for speedy deletion back in March 2009 by User:DGG; you'll have to take it to AfD. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:58, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- It was actually nominated for speedy deletion as no indication of importance, but it does indicate some possible importance if it can be referenced. An article can be deleted as an advertisement only if it is wholly promotional, and this is descriptive. The problem, asI mentioned in 2009, if that it needs references to show its importance. The criterion for deletion at AfD however is unreferenceable, not unreferenced. Therefore, first look for sources, & if not found, only then nominate for deletion. See WP:BEFORE.
