New to Editing
[edit]I work for the National Cannabis Industry Association, and I would like to make sure that the information on our Wikipedia page stays accurate and up-to-date. However, I'm also new to the Wikipedia editing community, so I want to make sure that I'm respecting community conventions and requirements. Last week, I added some information and attempted to add our logo, but I think I may have done the logo part incorrectly. It's been removed by another editor, but I'd love to get it up there correctly at some point. I'll be doing my own research into Wikipedia editing, but if I'm making silly mistakes, please be patient with me. Thanks for your understanding! TaylorWest256 (talk) 17:15, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
- I should add that my top priority is to provide the information necessary to satisfy Wikipedia's notability requirements. As the only national trade association representing the legal cannabis industry, and as an organization with 450 member business across the United States, I believe NCIA does meet the notability threshold, but I am open to any and all advice on how best to demonstrate that with content and citations. Thank you! TaylorWest256 (talk) 17:19, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
