Methodology and components of each Index
Could someone please spell out the components of each index referenced in this article and what methodology is used to acquire each component? As it stands, the indices look unreliable and unscientific. Thanks. N0w8st8s (talk) 03:31, 18 November 2017 (UTC)n0w8st8s
I think you're posing academic questions for the authors of the referenced indexing types. However, feel invited to edit this article if you can provide additional information that would be useful for readers of this article. Catrachos (talk) 16:58, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Omits Spanish speaking countries
I would think of Spain was a Western European country. The first sentence of the "In Practice section" lists countries in Northern Europe, North America, and Asia, and references "most Western European countries," while omitting Spanish speaking countries in Europe and Latin America (Spain, Peru, Columbia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Venezuela, and others), where national branding is referred to as Marca País. The Spanish language version of this article, es:Marca país has the same problem, but in reverse, that it only focuses on Spanish-speaking countries, with the curious exception of "Presencia Suiza". I'll take a crack at it later when I have time, to make both articles more global and, in the case of the Spanish version, better referenced. The other language versions I won't be able to help, as I only know English & Spanish. Catrachos (talk) 13:51, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
