Not dismissing your suggestion here, but can you provide a more detailed explanation as to why would that be in the interest of Wikipedia's readership, please? The reason I'm asking is because such information has often proved to be in the interest of the companies written about but not nearly as often a useful informtion to the general public, who may not be interested in how such solutions work but merely to understand what they are and why are they noteworthy. We, in South Australia, have just learned that our politicians use this US company to spy on us - which is legit because political parties are entitled to data harvesting. It's still breaking news, but when we click on government websites after all and sundry was digitised, we are linked to NationBuilder. I am shocked because it is deceptive conduct. I am also shocked that our elected politicians spend money to shape election campaigns, when these have become kabuki on steroids. The election campaigns are always about tweaking domestic legislation/issues when foreign policies are the far bigger influence on our economy and lives. If they do want to sus us out a bit, then they should not pay a foreign company to do that. Every day there is more bad karma. Edit requests to Introduction, Funding and Notable use cases sections

Hi, I am a COI editor working for NationBuilder. I am making several edit requests, because certain parts of the current article do not accurately represent what NationBuilder is and does.

• Beginning with the Introduction:

1. In order to make clear that NationBuilder is not just used for political campaigns, please add the following so the first sentence states: "NationBuilder is a Los Angeles-based technology start-up that develops community organizing software for non-profit organizations, political campaigns and other people and organizations trying to build an online following, including artists, musicians and restaurants."
2. In the second sentence of the intro, please remove all the words that imply that NationBuilder is used solely for political campaigns, which is false. The second sentence should state: "The software uses data such as names, addresses, and other information to allow users to centralise, build and manage campaigns by integrating various communication tools like websites, newsletters, text messaging and social media channels under one platform."
3. In the second paragraph, please remove the word "campaigning" and the words "by convincing numerous people to donate" in the first sentence. In the second and final sentence, also replace the words "political parties" with the word "users". These requested edits are for similar reasons, specifically that the software is not only for political use and is frequently used to manage volunteer efforts in addition to donation requests.

• In the "Funding" section:

1. Please remove the following sentence. "NationBuilder received more than $1 million in 2018, from political entities including Donald J. Trump for President, Prosperity Action and the Republican Party of Tennessee." This sentence misleads readers to believe that those political entities mentioned in the sentence "funded" NationBuilder, when in fact they were paying for the use of NationBuilder. Funding sounds like they were investors, which they were not, as opposed to customers, which they were.

• In the "Notable use cases" section:

1. Add the words "and non-profit initiatives" after the phrase "some prominent elections" in the first sentence.
2. Add the following sentence, which describes additional notable use of NationBuilder, directly after the first sentence: "Bernie Sanders, Mitch McConnell, Andrew Yang, Theresa May, Amnesty International, the N.A.A.C.P., and Donald Trump have all used NationBuilder to reach supporters."
3. Please change the name of the sub-heading "Trump election in 2016" to "2016 US Presidential election" since Trump is not the only candidate that used NationBuilder in the 2016 election. To say so is missing that NationBuilder was used for many other Presidential candidates, as shown below.
4. Add the following sentence directly after the first sentence of the above sub-heading: "Jill Stein of the Green Party, Republican Rick Santorum, and supporters of Bernie Sanders all used NationBuilder during their 2016 runs for president, although Sanders' overall campaign used technology from a rival firm."
5. Delete the sub-section "Rick Santorum's 2016 presidential campaign" since that content has been included in the above sub-head "2016 US Presidential election."

 Partly done I have implemented some of the proposed edits, particularly with regards to the Notable use cases section. Before its expansion to other initiatives, NationBuilder became primarily known for empowering political campaigns, and thus its use in political campaigns remains a major aspect of the topic and deserves WP:DUE coverage in this article. Hence, rather than removing them entirely, I have edited a number of sentences in the article to emphasize that they only apply to use of NationBuilder for political campaigns. feminist (+) 07:40, 10 June 2021 (UTC)

Request to remove Advert tag from the Notable use cases section

Hi. Since the advert tag was added to the notable use cases section, it has been edited 5 times to tone down both the language and the overly-specific subsection names.
