Hi Editors,
I work with Nathan Hubbard and was hoping you could with a few edits?
- In the second paragraph of Career, can you change the line beginning “During his time” to "During his time at Ticketmaster, Hubbard brought a tech and data focused strategy and attempted to improve public perception of Ticketmaster.”
- Citation is https://www.fastcompany.com/3016491/ex-ticketmaster-chief-nathan-hubbard-was-better-suited-for-twitter-all-along
- Done with edits, both for clarity and to make a little less promotional
- Citation is https://www.fastcompany.com/3016491/ex-ticketmaster-chief-nathan-hubbard-was-better-suited-for-twitter-all-along
- Can you change the next line to read “In 2013, Hubbard left Ticketmaster. Among the theories proposed for his departure include tensions between him and Michael Rapino, the CEO of Live Nation.”
- That is more accurate and what the citations explain. It wasn’t simply a “power struggle”

- Done with similar edits. I agree that "power struggle" is a bit too much of a non-neutral POV, but made your suggestion less promotional. I don't see the "fan-friendly" explanation in your sources. I'll take a look for more sources later.
- Could you add the following line next? “While Hubbard was CEO, Ticketmaster started providing mobile tickets and launched a live analytics data service and a database marketing platform. From 2009 to 2013, Hubbard's term, Ticketmaster showed growth in ticket sales each year.”
- Can you change the next line to read “A few days after leaving Ticketmaster, Hubbard joined Twitter as the company's first Vice President of Commerce and the interim Head of Global Media and Commerce, where he remained from August 2013 to 2016.”
- Citation is the same FastCo article
- Done with fixed capitalization
- Citation is the same FastCo article
- Could you combine the first two sentences of the paragraph beginning with “In 2018” to "Following his time at Twitter, Hubbard founded Rival in 2018 as a challenger to Ticketmaster, and served as CEO."
- Same citations
- Done
- Same citations
- Can you expand the next sentence to read "Rival had a contract with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and teams from major sports league in the US and the English Premier League and raised $33m in investment from Andreessen Horowitz, Upfront Ventures, and Silicon Valley figures such as Stripe founders Patrick and John Collison."
- Citations are https://www.siliconrepublic.com/business/ticketmaster-acquires-rival-ticket-industry and https://www.wsj.com/articles/ticketmasters-former-boss-wants-to-create-a-rivalto-tickets-1525431600
- Done without "major" and standardizing numbers. (Fixed some your formatting too)
- Citations are https://www.siliconrepublic.com/business/ticketmaster-acquires-rival-ticket-industry and https://www.wsj.com/articles/ticketmasters-former-boss-wants-to-create-a-rivalto-tickets-1525431600
- Could you change the next two lines, beginning with “In 2019” to “In July 2019, Ticketmaster began negotiations to acquire Rival and, in March 2020, the Department of Justice approved Ticketmaster's acquisition of Rival and Hubbard sold the company.”
- Citation is https://www.billboard.com/pro/ticketmaster-buys-rival-former-ceo-company/
- Done and that citation is already on the page
- Citation is https://www.billboard.com/pro/ticketmaster-buys-rival-former-ceo-company/
- Before the last paragraph, can you add “In 2022, Nathan Hubbard partnered with college roommate and chairman of Gibson Brands, Nat Zilkha, to start Firebird Music Holdings, a music company aiming to provide career and brand guidance to artists. The company has investors including the Raine Group, KKR, Partners, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management (Billboard) and includes artists such as Maggie Rogers, Chris Stapleton, Mumford & Sons, Dave Matthews Band, Phish and Arlo Parks."

- Done with some edits. These sources didn't mention Arlo Parks, so I switched out for a different artist
- Citations are:
- After that line, can you add "In 2023, Firebird partnered with the D'Amelio's DamGood Mgmt."
- Citation is https://www.wsj.com/articles/damelio-family-starts-new-venture-to-help-influencers-grow-beyond-tiktok-a9870f25
- Done with edits for context
- Citation is https://www.wsj.com/articles/damelio-family-starts-new-venture-to-help-influencers-grow-beyond-tiktok-a9870f25
- Could you add this as the last line of the section? “Hubbard co-hosts the music podcast 'Every Single Album' with Nora Princiotti on the Ringer Podcast Network, discussing the complete discographies and business impact of artists like Taylor Swift, Adele, and Harry Styles.”
- Citations are https://lifehacker.com/12-pop-music-podcasts-that-slap-1849781966/ and https://www.theringer.com/2021/3/8/22318562/how-taylor-swift-self-titled-debut-album-put-her-on-path-to-superstardom
- Done but I just updated the existing line about the podcast and moved to the best the second-to-last line. I don't think specific artists should be mentioned.
Thank you in advance for your help!! and let me know if you need anything else!
Sincerely, Camille

- Hi @FeldBum. Thank you for the edits!! Everything looks great. Are you able to remove the message at the top of the page now we added all these citations?
