[edit]This article reads very much like Public Relations material and should perhaps be flagged; I believe it to be the creation of the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flufflesworth (talk • contribs) 02:08, 30 July 2014 (UTC) I agree. It seems its all written by the same person. Interesting will take a deeper look on that within the next weeks. Strange. --188.2.181.82 (talk) 23:42, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
British Press Awards Scoop of the Year Award? (World Press Award?)
[edit]I have removed the unsourced reference to the British Press Awards Scoop of the Year Award, although Thayer mentions the award on his personal blog's "Awards and Honors" section (without stating the year). According to the British Press Awards official page, the 1997 Scoop of the Year Award went to James Whitaker of the Daily Mirror for his "revelation of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed relationship". I'm unable to find any reference to Thayer on the British Press Awards page. --Hvd69 (talk) 11:32, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
- I have also removed the unsourced World Press Award. --Hvd69 (talk) 13:57, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
- Can anybody provide a proper source for the 1998 Francis Frost Wood Award for Courage in Journalism? --Hvd69 (talk) 14:56, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
bias toward Ted Kopel
[edit]I see the person or persons responsible for this pile of dog crap seem to have taken sides with Koppel. BOTH SIDES don't seem to be represented or if they were represented, some leftwinger took the other side out. Not cool. Report all the facts! Not just the ones that support your side of the story. --2600:6C65:747F:CD3F:F984:C864:FB3B:FC50 (talk) 12:47, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
"In 2002 Thayer sued Koppel and ABC News"
[edit]And then? That was in freakin' 2002, that's 16/17 years. Whoever wrote this (unsourced, what a surprise) might want to add what the freak happened then. Sheesh. I don't come to WP to then have to go to Google to find the actual facts. --jae (talk) 14:36, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- The disadvantage of Wikipedia being a crowdsourced effort is that people could add unsourced material. The advantage of Wikipedia being a crowdsourced effort is that people could add properly sourced material. It is up to you to help make Wikipedia be what you want it to be. ANTIFA connection, DeSantis, Twitter Channel
[edit]Thayer is making mugshots and illegal wanteds on twitter on his account. It seems he wrote on August 27 "How to be a 5$ back alley hooker for the highest foreign bidder and the leading 2024 Republican Party presidential candidate at the same time." about DeSantis 188.2.181.82 (talk) 23:39, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
