Discussion
[edit]- "the two ladies principally concerned" -- I assume that Natalia was one. who was the other?
- "the accused" -- same question.
- "a couple of spiteful passionate women" -- the same two as in my first question?.

Date clarification
[edit]Punishment was as follows: both the princess Lopukhina and Anna Bestuzheva was undressed to bare skin, and whipped with birch rods and bullwhip (knout) on backsides standing completly naked on the scaflod in Colleague place Saint Petersburg on September 11, 1974.
Something with this passage is not right. Was she whipped at the age of 75 and "after Elizaveta's death on January 5, 1762"?? Mjbjosh (talk) 06:54, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Mons
[edit]Why would someone who is called Matryona Balk be a sister of Anna Mons and Willem Mons? Can someone explain? Is she perhaps a half-sister? Taksen (talk) 06:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
