Recent move
[edit]Another contributor recently moved Nataša Jovanović (Progressive Party politician) to Nataša Jovanović (politician), with the edit summary that it was a "shorter title."
While the title is indeed shorter, it doesn't properly distinguish this Nataša Jovanović from the subject of the Nataša Jovanović article, who is also a politician.
Would anyone object if I changed it back? CJCurrie (talk) 03:52, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- You absolutely have a point. I didn't realize that there was a politician under Nataša Jovanović. I am all for reverting back to Nataša Jovanović (Progressive Party politician). It would have been more helpful to have mentioned in a hat note that this Progressive party politician should not be confused with that other main politician from the Serbian Radical Party. Incidentally Nataša Jovanović main does not have a hat note either to leade to the progressive Party one. So all in all, very confusing to somebody completely new to the subject. So before finalizing the move back, please do verify if Nataša Jovanović is the principal subject adding the necessary hat notes on both. According to the articles, both are members of the National Assembly of Serbia. So why does one have preference over the other? I know one has served much longer than the other, is that the reason? Wouldn't it be better to make Nataša Jovanović the disambiguation page instead and let reader choose the politician that he/she is actually searching for? Or even better, check both for good measure. werldwayd (talk) 13:48, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- I will add hat notes to the articles. I should clarify that the Radical Party politician is, for better or worse, much better known than the Progressive Party politician. CJCurrie (talk) 03:10, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
