"Narrativity" is not an exclusive concept of film studies

The concept of narrativity is common stock in literary studies. The distinction between the rendering of a story and the public's perception is pretty old. It was thoroughly formulated by Gérard Genette's distinction between récit and histoire in his book Figures III. --Amador 05:05, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
