Whats with the "on this pee" and "we offer trojans" someone totally messed up this entry but I don't know enough to fix it...

The date of narak chaturdashi is wrongly stated. It is observed on 14th day of kartik month, insted of Ashwin.--आशीष भटनागर (talk) 16:44, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are two calendric traditions: if you follow purnimanta tradition, Naraka Chaturdashi will fall in kartika; if you follow amanta tradition, Naraka Chaturdashi will fall in Ashwina. Hence both are shown in the info box. Explanation of these traditions can be found here. You can also check drikpanchang.com. It allows you to switch between the two traditions. 14 Nov 2020 was Naraka Chaturdashi. If you switch between amanta and purnimanta, you will see the masa change between ashwina and kartika.
