This was the simplest description about nanoflowers I could write... If you have any further ideas or suggestions don't hesitate to make it better! Ncodia (talk) 15:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Your simple description is very nice and clear. I changed it slightly to fit WP:MOS. It would be good if you could add more reference citations. –Mattisse (Talk) 22:49, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe you could get some reference ideas from this article: Carbon nanotube. –Mattisse (Talk) 23:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
I am removing the In Fiction section since it is not relevant to this article. If anyone thinks it is needed, they can make a disambiguity page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.84.87 (talk) 17:02, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
something is missing in the production section you can not make SiC ( silicon carbide ) by passing only methane gas over gallium you have a source for Carbon in the methane, but no source for the Silicon. perhaps you could make gallium carbide, but not likely as gallium is not known to form a carbide i would suggest that perhaps two items were combined from a page dedicated to silicon carbide and gallium nitride used as "hard materials" Passing methane gas over heated silicon under the right conditions could give a mixture of silicon carbide, hydrogen gas and various silanes. Note that silanes are generally extremely flamable and toxic. That production method is risky as best and should be left to the professionals.
i would tweak the page to replace gallium with silicon, but i would like you to verify from your original source — Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.225.107.17 (talk) 14:19, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
