Is it worth mentioning that...like Liza Minelli...Nancy became a lesbian icon although neither she nor the character she portrayed on "Facts of Life" were gay themselves? She is often cited in gay media as an LGBT icon because the character she portrayed in "Facts of Life" was tough and more masculine than feminine. (Maybe with a citation to stories about this?) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.71.82.133 (talk) 20:27, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have always enjoyed watching you in anything you acted in. Beautiful person with lovely smile and eyes. I do want to ask if you would please communicate with me just a bit. My maiden name was McKeon. it is rather a seldom heard name. My father's family came to America in early 1900's they came from Ireland. I haven't been able to locate more family there as yet. But Dad and family lived in New York and New Jersey area. Dad being 1st generation born in US born in Orange County New Jersey. I wondered if you might know about your genealogy. I understand your need for privacy I will respect any method of communication you would choose. thank you Michelle MccKeon Winingar. e-mail mwiningar@yahoo.com. 76.8.147.215 (talk) 00:29, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately Wikipedia talk pages are not to be used for personal inquiries to the subject of the article. You would be advised to find a 'fan' site or some other avenue. Most likely Ms McKeon does not visit nor is aware your query is even here. THX1136 (talk) 02:27, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
