Here it goes:

  • Is that Excalibur quote Middle English? Honestly, a translation would be nice, either below it, or maybe preferably in a footnote. I can puzzle out most of it, thanks to the links, but not all readers are going to be able to do so. Nice quote, but it's basically a foreign language these days.
    • Ah, it was so much easier than Old English that I thought it fine with the links, but I've now added a Modern rendering.

Weapons of power

  • "18 such weapons are listed by Anthony" - I've heard that it's incorrect to start a sentence with a numeral, although that may not be true.
    • Spelt out.

Narsil / Anduril

  • The Lord of the Rings hero Aragorn - If I'm not mistaken the The is part of the title, so it should be italicized, too.
    • Done.

References

  • Malory got an ISBN?
    • Added.
  • Hall got an OCLC? Check worlcat.
    • Added.
  • Find the ISSN for Mythlore and add it to all of those cites.
    • Done.
  • References all look reliable
    • Noted.
  • Got one nitpicky thing on the refs: the citations to The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring are done differently. This should be consistent either way.
    • Done.

Images

  • Images are all licensed properly, and are relevant enough.
    • Noted.

Tidy little article. Not much to pick on here. Good work, placing on hold. Hog Farm Bacon 02:17, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
