Merge

I would like to propose we merge this page with brand as, according to my reading of this article, they are the same concept. --Cjs56 17:53, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't agree that they are "the same" but there are clearly enough correspondences between the two subjects that making a single article at Brand would probably be appropriate. --AlisonW 16:48, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I support a merge with Brand of the present material regarding 'brand names' and similar commercial subject matter. We have an article on naming in general for any other material not related to commerce: Name User:Pedant 00:48, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment The following was posted on my talk page by the original author of this article: "My original research, done when I didn't know any better, has been incorporated in name. Thanks for the heads up. Fred Bauder 04:29, 27 June 2007 (UTC)" I will take this into account, and in the very near future delete this page after making sure that anything of value, that isn't original research, is salvaged. --Cjs56 04:38, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
