[edit]The name could well have been named in honor of the historical, and semi-mythical 'Kemet" King (reputed first Egyptian Pharoh, Called "Namar"). If so, after he established the first Kemetian Pharonic Dynasties of the two north-east African lands of Kemet, an Sudan, it were logical that the expansion of Kemet's territorial influence and fame spread throughout western Asia was such that the honorific naming of cities and kingdoms after this, the first-known "post-Diluvian" conqueror would have been common. --184.207.7.124 (talk) 15:22, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Veryverser
