Made lots of changes, looking for feedback

Good start. I've removed the lists per WP:NOTDIRECTORY. I've also removed the unattributed statements - see edit summaries - but they really seemed misplaced. The Dissident Aggressor 18:26, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
