Nam Nao was created from Amphoe Lom Kao, not Lom Sak. It's clearly written in the royal gazette source mentioned. Pop according to the POpulation and Housing Census of 1980 : 7810 perrsons ; 1279 households; of which 1135 households (6916 persons) are classified as agricultural households
