[edit]naik is a community in india. this naiks are living together at one place. for eg. in andhra pradesh naiks living in thanda's. such thandas only for naik. this naik initially born in north india, later on spread all over india. for example in andhra pradesh telangana region for them called as lambadies, in kosta region for them given name as thanda and in rayala seema given name as sugali. this naik are two communitis one naik another one rathode, means this two are same in north region.
