[edit]WikiProject Biography Assessment
Brief, but nearly a B. Putting her filmography in the right order, plus a couple extra references should do it.
The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article. -- Yamara 14:10, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Article needs a lot of work
[edit]We need a filmography -- can someone take the info from IMDB and work it up into a table? Also, I'd like to know where she was born. Jewish family? Where? In Mumbai?
This may not be relevant at all, but the news articles say that she was a recluse. Was she still well-to-do, as per the Rolls Royce reference, or had she lost much of her wealth? Is this a sad tale of fall from wealth into poverty? Zora 22:00, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
real name
[edit]her real name was Farhat Ezekiel Nadira [1] Florence was an english name taken by her, as was common amongst several Baghdadi Jews, including Albert Sassoon (David Sassoon's son), whose real name was Abdullah. Pizzadeliveryboy 23:03, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
offsprings
[edit]I have come across only a few mentions of a daughter in the news media in the last 2 days....If she was never married, I think she might have adopted her....need to check that, thoPizzadeliveryboy 13:26, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

Alcoholism
[edit]I too have read that Nadira was an alcoholic, and that she died from the effects of alcoholism. However, I don't think I read that in any reliable source. I took out the claim until we can get a reliable reference. I'd be more than happy to have it in the article as long as it is backed up. Zora 07:14, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Nadira.jpg
[edit]Image:Nadira.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
