[edit]United Kingdom (WWE brand) → NXT UK (WWE brand) – WWE in both a WWE.com article and in a video on the official WWE Twitter page has referred to the brand as NXT UK. The brand name has been changed from United Kingdom and its Wikipedia page should reflect such. ZSJUSA (talk) 21:58, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- WP:COMMONNAME states that we go by the common name used by independent secondary sources. Both that you have mentioned are official WP:PRIMARY sources. Do you have any secondary sources to support that NXT UK is the name used by these secondary sources? It is probably too early to determine how they will be calling it. - GalatzTalk 21:23, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support. The current name is a made up for Wikipedia term, not the common name as defined by Wikipedia guidelines. WWE announced the actual name, no reason not to use it instead of something pulled out of thin air. oknazevad (talk) 22:35, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Oknazevad: Who says its made up? [1] and [2] both use the term. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 13:28, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- Bith of those sources pre-date the full announcement of the brand and its official launch. It was an interim name at best, used as a placeholder until the formal branding was introduced. In short, it's an outdated working title, and not suitable for continued use. oknazevad (talk) 13:38, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- Just because its an outdated title it doesn't make it not suitable. Per WP:NAMECHANGES
Sometimes, the subject of an article will undergo a change of name. When this occurs, we give extra weight to reliable sources written after the name change is announced. If the reliable sources written after the change is announced routinely use the new name, Wikipedia should follow suit and change relevant titles to match.
Therefore I do not think its unreasonable to request the nominator to prove that the new name is the one commonly used. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 14:05, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

- Support. The brands official name has been announced as "NXT UK". Speedy Question Mark (talk) 23:09, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support. It's been announced as "NXT UK" at of 25/6. BBX118 20:30, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support. The official name going forward is NXT UK. Not sure why this is even a debate any longer. WWE themselves made the official announcement with a press release. Also there’s these sites as well:

- This discussion has been going on for almost 2 weeks and it looks like we have an almost unanimous 5-1 vote in favor of switching the name to NXT UK. Let’s move forward on this. OldSkool01 (talk) 07:10, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]So we have reached a 5-1 consensus. Can someone now please move the page to NXT UK (WWE brand)? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mt.FijiBoiz (talk • contribs) 22:27, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
24/7 Championship
[edit]If it's never been featured on NXT UK or won by an NXT UK wrestler, why is it mentioned here? Spartan198 (talk) 01:24, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
