Don't Vandalize the page and put Stupid Bullshit

[edit]

Someone is messing up every single current championship in WWE. Includes: changing current champion name, messing up infoboxes, and messing up charts and tables. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:B825:6940:A0BD:98B5:153A:C91D (talk) 21:29, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in NXT Tag Team Championship

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of NXT Tag Team Championship's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "NXTTagChamp":

  • From Joel Redman: Parry, Josh (31 January 2013). "WWE News: Spoiler – first NXT tag champs, next month's guest". Pro Wrestling Torch. Retrieved 1 February 2013.
  • From Corey Graves: Caldwell, James (June 21, 2013). "WWE News: NXT spoilers for summer episodes – first NXT Women's champ, Flair, more, plus NXT TV in the U.S.?". Pro Wrestling Torch. Retrieved June 26, 2013.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 22:13, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sanity/Nikki Cross freebird references.

[edit]

This page now makes numerous remarks about Nikki Cross being recognised as champion via the Freebirds rule, as does her own wikipedia page. However, I can't find a single official mention of this. The source referenced by both pages is a PWI report on what happened in the match, not the status of the title nor an official WWE report, and WWE's own page only depicts Eric Young & Alexander Wolfe as the champions, not Nikki Cross or Killian Dain. Also note this article doesn't reference Killian as a champion via Freebirds rule, so at the very least if Nikki Cross is being counted, Killian Dain should be, too. WWE.com listing

[edit]

On wwe.com under the NXT Tag Team Chamionship page it list only Fish, O’Reily and Strong as champions and not Adam Cole. Ron234 (talk) 14:46, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, they used to have him in there....way to complicate things WWE.... He was announced as tag team champion at TakeOver New Orleans.... - GalatzTalk 23:51, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It’s very dumb but officially it seems he’s not a Tag champ anymore. Could you please fix all the articles that feature this info. Thanks. Ron234 (talk) 06:51, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Being as he won the match and was announced I believe he should still be included with a note stating that the WWE later removed the mention of this, consistent with other title changes the WWE ignores. - GalatzTalk 11:42, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MSK's Tag Titles Vacated

[edit]

https://www.si.com/wrestling/2022/04/06/nash-carter-released-wwe-nxt-tag-team-champ

The titles are vacated due to one half of the team being fired. I edited at least some of this page to reflect this and the actual https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_champions_in_WWE listing has the tag titles vacated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:9001:6B01:F399:A002:2E13:A691:B1B1 (talk) 01:08, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
