[edit]for the area that says wwe and nwa titles bob holly and bart gunn should be added because they both held the wwe and nwa titles together but they also held the wwe title(but as parts of diffrent tag teams. bart with billy gunn(kip james) as the smoking gunns. bob holly with crash holly as the hollys) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.12.116.132 (talk) 21:37, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know what you're talking about, but it might have already been removed. I don't remember any of the names you mention ever holding the NWA World Tag Team Titles... Clint 09:51, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
LAX
[edit]I changed the page to state that LAX are still the champs. Next week's preview on TNAWrestling.com states that LAX are the champions [[1]]. 67.175.74.87 05:15, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- The title history page says "stripped". [2] --Aaru Bui DII 22:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- And the latest word (Impact preview) from TNA is that they still have the titles. 131.230.135.105 21:20, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- And as a matter of fact, they're defending the titles thursday night [[3]]

OK, I think this article written by Konnan officially explains everything [[4]].
- "So what I did was go out and hire the best Latino lawyer American money could buy. He’s college educated and he knows how to play the game with the gringo judges. Jim Cornette may talk loud, but TNA realized just how serious we were when they got that legal injunction. I know deep down inside Cornette hates us and wants to get these titles off of us, but TNA management calls the shots and Cornette has no choice but to recognize us as still World Tag Team Champions ... So now that they realize that we’re gonna play the game, they decide to take it up a notch. This Thursday night, TNA management has signed Homicide and Hernandez to defend the World Tag Team Title against the newest TNA poster boy Kurt Angle and one of the biggest hypocrites in the history of our sport, Petey Williams."
So perhaps we can mention in the title history that Cornette stripped the champs, but the ruiling was legally overturned. 131.230.242.107 02:49, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Tournament
[edit]So will there be a tournament like there is for the NWA world title?
Pic of the tag belt
[edit]The pic say 1992-current. The belts that debuted in 1992 are not the ones being used today. Since 1992, there have been 4 different sets of belts used. The current pair were paid for by TNA after Chris Candido's death (when they gave away the previous pair to his girlfriend), and debuted shortly afterwards. And what's pictured isn't one of the actual belts, but rather a Figures Inc. replica.

WWWF/WWF World Tag Team Championship?
[edit]The W(W)WF was an NWA member 1972-1983 - therefore its World tag team championship could have technically counted as a version of the NWA World Tag Team Title during this period. Should it be included on this article? Or failing that, should there be some sort of note in the text to cover this point? Romomusicfan (talk) 12:09, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done As no one commented on this, I assume this is a non controversial point, therefore have added this to the text.Romomusicfan (talk) 12:51, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
