Comments:

  1. The sentence "This unit was built by NOHAB, with motors from ASEA and engine from EMD. " sounds awkward.
  2. In sentence "In March, the unit was sent back to NOHAB and went on a marketing tour, that would eventually reach Ankara, Turkey, in 1955", reomve commas after "tour" and "Turkey".
  3. In sentence "The locomotive returned to Norway on 1 July 1955, was numbered 602 and put into service on the Nordland Line", add "where it" between comma and "was".
  4. "and reduced travel time with one hour" sounds awkward.
  5. The sentence "On 1 April 1987, a Di 3 612 caught on fire; although it was not more damaged than that the locomotive could be repaired..." needs to be reworded
  6. "and for the only time a line with regular service with Di 3 was taken out of service" sounds awkward.
  7. Combine the sentences "The choice fell on Class 93. Fifteen units were eventually delivered, allowing all passenger trains on diselized lines to either be operated with Class 93 be hauled by the Di 4."

I am placing the article on hold. ---Dough4872 23:44, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The top photo should be from Norway

[edit]

NSB Di 3 was built for NSB (Norwegian) and served for NSB for decades. For this reason the top photo should be a photo from Norway. Now the top photo is from Kosovo where the locomotive has been only a few years. NSB Di 3 is a Norwegian name for a Norwegian locomotive. Kosovo Railways are free to rename the locomotive if they wish, but this article is primarily about the Norwegian locomotive. Urbanus Secundus (talk) 00:25, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
