Nitrous

[edit]

NOS does not refer directly to nitrous itself but a manufacturer of the systems. Using NOS to refer to nitrous as a whole is regarded as juvenile at best (like saying "I watch RCA" instead of "I watch TV"). How do you think this could be better reflected while still maintaining the manual of style? -Drdisque 17:19, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, fair enough. Accuracy certainly trumps style. I put it back (more or less) the way you had it; mostly I got rid of the bolding. Does that work better? -- RoySmith (talk) 17:47, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have re-added Nitrous Oxide to the list since right in the intro sentence in Nitrous Oxide it mentions that it is also known as NOS. 69.182.48.34 00:16, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
