Additional facts regarding history of Regele Carol I
[edit]At some point between WW-I and WW-II the Regele Carol I was used as a passenger liner. For example shortly before the 1935 Maccabiah Games in Israel (then British Mandated Palestine), held in May of that year, a group of Jewish athletes from Latvia traveled on that ship to Israel. See two attached photos.
