new tackling rule
[edit]after watching the hit on Marcus Lattimore of South Carolina the NFL and College football should have a rule where you cannot hit a ballcarrier below the knee area if he's already engaged by another defender this will lower injuries to the knee and lower leg area also may help with tacklers and concussions due to them getting knees to the head,if you guys are concerned bout player safety this should help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.182.182.174 (talk) 02:33, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
NFL rule change needed because of deliberate cheathing but legal.
[edit]1ST Time
i've noticed in 2 NFL games i saw, in the game winning field goal situation the kicking team was charged with a delay of game penalty. after the whistle blew the kicker preceded to kick the ball. it is my belief this was an intentional penalty to gain a practice kick for the real field goal. the rule should penalize this with an additional 15 yard unsportsman like conduct penalty or delay of game penalty to eliminate this practice. DO NOT DIMISS THIS LOGIC.(69.72.27.66 (talk) 05:32, 7 November 2014 (UTC)) THINK. ON A GAME WINNING FIELD GOAL YOU CAN'T TELL ME NOBODY MONITORS THE CLOCK.(69.72.27.66 (talk) 05:32, 7 November 2014 (UTC))
How many members?
[edit]I just want to point out that the article states the number of members is eight, but then goes on to list 12 members, including the chairman. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kurtisokc (talk • contribs) 22:40, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
End zone antics
[edit]Please change this rule for team celebrations. I really don’t care to watch Halloween “Thriller” instead of football during a game. Thus is professional football, not college or grand school. 47.44.93.147 (talk) 01:09, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
